AB served in the Marine Corps from 1967-1970. In February 1968, A.B. earned a
Purple Heart in the Battle for Hue City, Vietnam.
Happily married to Dianna, he is the father of five boys, one daughter and Paw
Paw to eight grandchildren.
A.B. earned a MBA from the University of Alabama in 1987. He retired from the
business world in 1999.
A.B. joined the P. L. Wilson Detachment, Marine Corps League in 2007 with son
Joshua Grantham.
